Saints' u/13 girls' cricket team proved their superiority against Potchefstroom Central School on Wednesday, 14 August with a commanding 202-run win in a 20-over North-West league encounter.
An excellent unbeaten century from Leanny Makusha (136* from 69 balls) took Saints to 272/1 in their 20 overs.

Leanny hit 22 fours as she punished any loose deliveries. She especially took a liking to the onside as she smashed most of her boundaries to the fine leg and square leg regions.
Yodahe Erco (40 from 29 balls) and Siphumelele Duma (63 from 30 balls, with 10 fours) also contributed with handy runs.
Central fought hard, but Saints proved to be the better team on the day as our bowlers restricted them to 70 all out. Bophelo "Dynamite" Sothane took 3/10 in her four overs with tight and energetic bowling. 👏
