Saints put on a fantastic all-round display with bat and ball to claim the most prestigious cricketing trophy to date. With this title, Saints can claim to be the best girls cricket team in central South Africa!

Months of hard work went into this victory and it showed as the girls stuck to the basics and played their part in standout performances throughout the tournament.

Saints started the final with their foot firmly on the accelerator. They made 129/8 in their 20 overs, largely due to a fantastic 76-run opening partnership between

Jessica Joshua (34 off 34 balls) and Reabetswe Dithipe (28 off 40 balls).

Tight bowling from Gogontle Padi, Rea Dithipe and the Duma sisters (Siphokazi and Siphumelele) as well as a late flurry of wickets from Yodahe Erco, ensured the victory for Saints.
